To Harbor

After starting your duties as a lighthouse keeper, you discover there is more to your job than you thought. It is up to you to use the lighthouse to protect ships and cast out eldritch horrors from the deep!

The game was created during the Fall 2022 design week challenge at Sheridan College. The challenge was to create a game that used an alternative controller. The game was created by a team of 4 people over a period of 4 days. We created the game in the Unity engine.

My roles on the Project were Narrative Designer and Voice Actor.


Photokinisi

After passing into the afterlife, you must use your skills as a photographer to reflect on life and the moments you cherished most. Take a walk through Daniel’s most impactful memories and snap photos of what moves you the most.

The game was created during the Winter 2023 design week challenge at Sheridan College. The challenge was to create a game that focused on an unexplored action (to curate). The game was created by a team of 6 people over the span of 4 days.

My roles on the project were Narrative Designer and Level Designer.


ARK

As the last salvation for the species of the world, you take on the responsibilty of loading animals into your Ark to escape the impending flood. ARK is a resource management game where you want to fit as many animals on your Ark as possible.

The game was created during my second semester at Sheridan college. We were tasked with spending the semester designing an 18 card wallet game and seeing it through to production. The game was created by a team of 4 people over the course of 4 months.

My roles on the project were Game Designer and Project Manager.



Sneak Snack

That candy isn’t going to eat itself! In Sneak Snack, the goal is to eat as much candy in class as quickly as possible before the time is up. Be careful not to be caught by the teacher though!

The game was created during the Winter 2024 design week challenge at Sheridan College. The challenge was to create a 30 second micro-game that would be included among many others on an arcade machine. The had to pass compliance testing, and was created by a team of 6 people over the span of 4 days.

My roles on the project were Game Designer and Test Coordinator.

A Tale of Four

As your party of four ventures deep into the ancient ruins, dread and treachery await. Deep in the Indonesian jungle, the group searches for the treasure they have been longing for. It is up to you to guide the party through the maze of death traps.

The game was created during my first year, second semester Narrative Design class. The challenge was teo create an interactive story with at least 7 different endings.

The game was designed, written and created solely by me over the course of 4 months.


Silent Star

Your ill mother has passed away and in her final moments, expressed regret over her perceived lack of meaning and impact. As her only son, it is your responsibility to gather materials for her funeral pyre and give her a ceremony fitting of the woman she was in life.

The game was created during my Fall 2024 Advanced Narrative Design class at Sheridan College. The task was to create a narrative game we could effectively turn into a portfolio piece over the course of 4 months.

The game was designed, written and created solely by me over the course of 4 months.
