Project Information
This game was created during my second year, second semester design week challenge at Sheridan College. We were tasked with the challenge of creating a 30 second micro-game that would be added to an arcade machine with dozens of other student made games. We also had to pass professional-grade compliance testing to have the game shipped. The game was created by a team of 6 people over 4 days.

What I learned
This was my fourth time participating in a game jam, so I went in with more confidence and determination than ever before. Although I have more experience now, this was in fact my first time conducting compliance testing to have the game “shipped”. My main focus was on the general game design and flow of the game as well as conducting play testing sessions. Additionally, I also ensured we passed all compliance testing and fixed any issues that arose.
I spent most of my time checking in with the programmers and artists, ensuring we were all sticking to the vision and relaying any issues that may have arisen. I would constantly refer to our initial design document as well as player feedback to ensure we were always on the same page and working towards creating the best product possible.
I used Miro to organize most of the general game design principles and concepts as it was an easy place for all team members to access. We used Miro to quickly make decisions and change anything about how the game worked, all would be immediately reflected in the Miro board.
